A unique opportunity to play on one stage with such acclaimed piano talents as Jan Bartoš and David Mareček is offered to all pianists, regardless of age and musical education, by the traditional event of the Brno Marathon Music Festival called PIANORELAY.
Whether you are amateur or professional, a young student or an experienced professor, you are all invited to the Alfa Palace on Sunday 13 August to take up the piano baton and pass it on again after you have finished your piece! The maximum length of one performance is 5 minutes, and short pieces by beginning pianists are also warmly welcomed. Once again this year, in addition to solo piano playing, it is possible to enter other instruments with piano accompaniment.
The Pianorelay, which will be opened at 14:00 by the patron of this year's festival, pianist Jan Bartoš, will be accompanied as is tradition by the Director of the Czech Philharmonic and pianist David Mareček. Come and play or just listen. You can decide on the spot whether or not to take the baton. However, you can most certainly get a definite seat at the piano by registering in advance: Send an e-mail to Jakub Kalus at pianostafeta@gmail.com.
