The Brno musician Radim Hanousek is behind the interactive website Malujeme hudbu (We’re Painting Music). The aim of his project is to develop children’s creativity even during the coronavirus crisis. Professional musicians and artists such as Nikol Bóková, Michal Wróblewski and Natalie Perkof got involved in this online help for quarantined children.
Malujeme hudbu (We’re Painting Music) – The website that interconnects children’s playfulness and ideas with experienced artists’ creativity. It works with pictures that are used as an inspiration to musicians, and also with music, which can, on the contrary, inspire artists. The father of the idea of the entire project is Radim Hanousek, jazz saxophonist, improviser and the founder of the Dust in the Groove band. Children can find both pictorial and musical material on the website and then use it to create and subsequently upload their creations onto the website. The following artists took part in the entire interactive project: Peter Graham, Natalie Perkof, Lenka Pilařová, Olga Piperová, Reidun Rose Vinda, Roberta Legros Štěpánková, Marcel Bárta, Nikol Bóková, Fabio Delvò, Didrik Ingvaldsen, Žaneta Vítová, Jana Vondrů and Michal Wróblewski.
