The concert of Gustav Řezníček will commemorate the traditional Christmas concerts of Jiří Bulis in Kabinet múz.
Kabinet múz has been serving culture and art for 25 years. It is the venue of the beginnings of the post-revolutionary era of the HaDivadlo Theatre with members of Ochotnický kroužek (Volunteer Club) led by J.A. Pitínský. Among them was a young graduate of an acting programme Gustav Řezníček. Řezníček is returning to Kabinet múz in Brno from his current home scene in Zlín to commemorate Christmas concerts of the then court composer of the HaDivadlo Theatre and the Husa na Provázku Theatre (formerly Na Provázku Theatre) Jiří Bulis.
Jiří Bulis, whose artistic activities are tied primarily to Brno, died more than 20 years ago. As a graduate of composition at JAMU he primarily focused on composing music for theatre performances. A year ago, the CD Jiří Bulis Hommage was released as a generational tribute given to the prematurely deceased artist.
The evening with songs by Jiří Bulis will take place on 13 December 2016 from 7:30 p.m. in Kabinet múz.
