The 6th year of the international festival of organ music will introduce guests from Austria, Poland, Italy and Germany. Bach’s Organ Autumn is one of the most important organ projects in Central Europe. In addition to organ concerts, the programme also includes master courses at JAMU and children’s choir concerts.
Among this year’s festival guests there can be found the professor of the University of Music in Vienna Pier Damiano Peretti, who was the only Italian to win first place in the famous English organ competition St. Albans. There will also be the famous Polish soloist Marek Toporowski or Marco Paolacci, who regularly cooperates with the Sängerknaben in Vienna. Besides the organ players there will also be the saxophone and clarinet player Christian Leitherer. Since 2013 the dramaturgist of the festival has been Barbara Maria Willi who, after twenty years, has returned to the instrument which started her career, when she was fourteen years old. Professor Alena Veselá assumed the patronage of the festival. The festival will take place between 6 and 30 October 2015.
