HaChucpa

The HaChucpa ensemble was formed in 1997 at the HaDivadlo. He was inspired by the programs previously presented here by Wolfgang Spitzbardt. Together with conductor and pianist Vít Mareček, he participated from the beginning in leading the ensemble, which continues the almost extinct tradition of Jewish culture in Brno and tries to authentically revive and present it in the form of Jewish music along with Hebrew songs. During its existence, many people from the ranks of students of JAMU, the Brno Conservatory, members of the Ha Theater, the Brno Jewish Community and others passed through the HaChucpa ensemble.
