KontraMoment is an instrumental and vocal project of the early and high Baroque - through madrigals and laments to opera and the glory of castrati, from poetry to mythology, from Tancredi to Rinaldo - cello, baroque harp and voice.
The protagonist of the concert is Vojtěch Kaděra, who graduated from the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava in the fields of cello and voice, continued his singing studies with Medea Iassoniou in Athens, Anna Vandi and Renata Scotto in the opera studio at the Santa Cecilia National Academy in Rome. He has currently collaborated with Andreas Scholl and regularly consults and is mentored by the mezzo-soprano Vivica Genaux.
