Bex Marshall Band (UK)
Winner of the "British Blues Awards" Bex Marshall stands out for her unique style of guitar playing, in which she combines sliding slide technique, blues rock and roots music. Her voice is a combination of the vocals of a troubled old black woman and the soulful feeling of a rock star. Bex pushes the boundaries of the blues, her songs have been repeatedly described by British music critics as "timeless, with occasional touches of genius". Bex's concert performance is then evaluated literally as a "musical tornado". Another of her unofficial nicknames is the 1st lady of the British Blues. In 2015, Bex Marshall was nominated (among the first three female artists) in the category "Best Solo Acoustic Artist" at the European Blues Awards. At the British ("British Blues Awards"), she repeatedly won the Award for the best British blues singer and the blues album of the year.
