Martina Trchová
A singer-songwriter based in Brno, whose work draws from the blues, but also from jazz and folk. In her singing, she moves between fragility and forcefulness with a hip-hop cadence, and in her lyrics she can be harshly self-questioning, but also playful and smiling. In the years 2009 – 2022 she performed with the band Martina Trchová & Trio, currently she has returned to solo performance, this time with a looper, and her performances tend to be all the more urgent and raw.
