Noah Wotherspoon is an absolutely phenomenal and captivating musician who has made a name for himself at a young age as one of the premier musicians and blues guitarists to dominate Dayton, Ohio. Although he impresses with his technique, Noah is not a guitarist who plays "for fretboard racing". Over the years he has developed an individual playing style defined by melody, beautiful tone and brilliant musical sense. No wonder he won the title of Best Guitarist at the renowned International Blues Challenge 2015 in Memphis. In 2015, the debut album "Mystic Mud" was released. In early November 2019, his next album "Mobile Juke House Theater" was released.
There is an undeniable outpouring of soul and emotion when listening to Noah. Many times people wonder what musical influences have inspired him over the years. “…during my first few years of playing, I immersed myself in the music of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix. Later then into learning the blues and I fell in love with classic Texas/Chicago blues artists like Otis Rush, Albert King, Magic Sam, …. I've also always drawn inspiration from the Beatles and other great songwriters like Bob Dylan, Elliott Smith, Jeff Buckley and Doyle Bramhall II. Reading Jack Kerouac as a teenager opened my eyes and found its way into a lot of my writing."
