Delioù ("Leaves" in Breton) is a meeting between Czech violinist Jitka Malczyk and Breton harpist Celestine Doedens.
In their compositions, they draw inspiration from their own musical roots, from their travels and traditional folklore - Brittany, Bohemia, Hungary, the Balkans, Turkey and Scandinavia.
Deliou's music is emotional, full of dynamics and playing with silence, direct and mysterious, tender and folk-raw, it allows you to dream, takes you into a wild dance and tells a story at the same time.
