The Czech swing king returns to the Sono Center!
After his successful debut concert in New York's Carnegie Hall, where he performed as the first Czech jazz singer, Jan Smigmator returns with his stellar band to Brno, where exactly one month before Christmas Day, he will present a Christmas concert, the exclusive guest of which will be the American singer Tonya Graves, to the Czech audience best known as a longtime member of the funk band Monkey Business!
With his Christmas concert, Jan Smigmator will follow up on a series of hopelessly sold-out concerts in the Brno Cabaret Des Péches in the Yalta Palace, where in previous years he performed with the legendary American saxophonist Scott Hamilton or the Swedish jazz star, singer Hayati Kaf. This time, however, he is heading to his favorite Sono Center, a hall with the best acoustics and technical equipment in our country, where this year he will present a new concert program full of ageless swing evergreens, jazz standards, hits by Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett, but there will also be a number of songs that will be for fans a big surprise. However, you can also look forward to original songs, Christmas classics and several duets with Tonya Graves, which will be performed in Brno for the very first time.
