The British Kosheen will celebrate a quarter of a century with a special club tour of the Czech Republic and perform again in Brno after more than a year.
After the British and Australian tour, the British singer Sian Evans & Kosheen will visit the Czech Republic. After a different festival performance at Metronome Prague in June, the band will visit the Czech Republic in November to please their numerous fans with more intimate club concerts and thus celebrate 25 years of their existence with them on a tour called "Celebrating 25 years of Kosheen". These shows are the best opportunity for fans to enjoy meeting the band up close.
At the concert in Brno, visitors will be welcomed by an exclusive opening act/supporting band, which the organizers are not keeping as a surprise for the time being.
Kosheen have won numerous awards for their unique blend of breakbeat rhythms, techno and drum'n'bass, combined with a more traditional songwriting craft, which together with Sian's enchanting vocals is a real strength, and above all, the hallmark of the whole band. During the tour, Kosheen will play all their hits in a new guise and rebuild in the best clubs around the country. In Czech clubs, her fans will have the chance to meet the whole band up close, share the energy and charisma of the enchanting singer Sian Evans, which will take your breath away. Concerts in the first half of November will take place in Prague, Jablonec nad Nisou, Pilsen, Pardubice, Brno and Ostrava.
Kosheen has been active in the music scene for 25 years and is one of the major players in the electronic scene. Their music mixes different genres. Drum, bass, synth-pop, trip hop, even rock or techno. This musical performance is responsible for five consecutive albums, with their biggest hits mainly coming from the first two. From the first album Resist is Hide U, Catch, Suicide or Hungry and Harder, from the second album called Kokopelli came the single All in my head. Kosheen's soulful lead singer and member of the band, Sian Evans, never seems to age. She constantly enriches her performances with her life energy, enthusiasm and extraordinary charismatic personality, and her good mood is contagious.
