The big return of the legends of the Czechoslovak hard and heavy scene is coming in the spring of 2024! CITRON band with former members Jarda Bartoně and Vašek Vlasák, the famous METALINDA and women's metal legend LORETTA will go on a joint tour in the spring of 2024, aptly named "The Power of Return"! The tour will start on March 1, 2024 in PRAGUE, MeetFactory and will stop in 10 Czech and Moravian cities!
Citron's bandleader, Radim Pařízek Jr. says: "I'm glad that we talked about everything in the band and we can move on again. I appreciate the fact that Jarda Bartoň and Vašek Vlasák, who are an inseparable part of Citron, will perform again with Citron. There will be old and new hits at the concerts and we will remember the entire history of the band and its members. We are looking forward to spending time with Metalinda and Loretta, with whom we will support the Czechoslovak spirit from past tours and will certainly offer fans a unique concert experience."
Bandleader and guitarist Peter Sámel from the band Metalinda adds: "For me, Citron is the band that started the era of Heavy Metal in Czechoslovakia. First Rock, then Heavy Metal and its energy, absorbed me completely. It resulted in the formation of the Slovak group METALINDA in 1985. We released the 1st LP "METALINDA", won the Triangel song session about 7 times in a row, advanced to the highest stage and won the Golden Triangle. On it, we got the opportunity to film the entire concert and broadcast it on television, where we also met Láď Křížko, as we shared a dressing room. Until now, we remember the experiences with the guys from the band Citron. We were already talking about joint concerts then. Although more than 30 years have passed and the joint tour "THE POWER OF RETURN" is fast approaching. We are looking forward to it, and with the combination of Metalinda and Citron, not a single fan will definitely be disappointed."
Loretta's manager Alois Šlesinger says: "The melodic metal of the women's band Loretta has always been a welcome revival of the metal scene, and Loretta's comeback in the summer of 2015 after more than 20 years caused a great response among fans of harder music. Now the girls are working in the studio on a new CD and are already very much looking forward to playing on the joint tour "Strength of Return" with metal legends - the bands Citron and Metalinda."
