In August 2023, the bands NO NAME and NOCADEŇ presented their joint song "In the original version" on YouTube. This heralded the release of a new album by NO NAME and also a joint Czech-Slovak tour of both bands.
The tour will start in the city that is the home of both bands – in Košice and will end with the grand finale on April 20, 2024 in the O2 universe Prague. The Czech pop-rock band BOTOX will also join the two Slovak bands on the tour.
The single "In the original version" offers a unique live concert version that can only be experienced during the joint tour. The duet of Igor Timek and Rasťa Kopina entitled "In the original version" comes from the upcoming album of the band NO NAME. Igor and Rasťo are former classmates from the Košice State Conservatory, who even sat on the same bench. This is the first ever artistic collaboration between these two bands.
“Since the release of our last regular album in 2015, the ideas have gradually started to come. The new song is a taster of our upcoming album which will be released in the coming weeks. We once again adhere to our defined principle: Sing what you experience and experience what you sing. It is quite natural for our generation in their forties to realize that we are in the middle of a growing up process, perhaps in the middle of a life journey. And it is during this period that a person needs a sense of security, the knowledge that he can rely on someone, that he knows where he belongs... Only those who believe in others grow wings. Confrontation with oneself and with life is the awaited moment", concludes Igor Timko.
