Kandráčovci

A musical storm from the east is approaching Brno. On 7.12. will hold a Christmas concert of the Kandračovci group.
The Kandračovci group was founded in 2004 by its primate Ondrej Kandrač. The members of this group are former musicians from various folklore ensembles. The musicians work closely with the regional broadcaster RTVS in Košice.
Kandračovci released many albums. For example, with the publishing house Slovak Radio Records, there were two extremely successful CDs - "A čija to chyža" and "Sinu muj" from 2004 and 2005 - that year. Later, other CDs were added to them.
In 2008, the Kandračovs became the first folk music group in Slovakia to receive two platinum records at the same time for their premiere CD, the already mentioned title - A čija to chyža a Sinu muj! Just two years later, they added another platinum CD for the Oj, zabava project, which became their first debut album.
This also testifies to the professional qualities of these musicians. After the title Oj zabava came the particularly successful album Dva Duby in 2012. An extremely popular concert, which could be seen by spectators in various corners of Slovakia, is connected to it.
In the fall of 2014, the band Kandračovci completed a series of concerts to celebrate their tenth birthday, in style in large sports halls in the cities of Eastern Slovakia, which they managed to sell out! On this occasion, the CD - 10 years with you was released in the fall, on which there are other songs produced by the band. On the occasion of the band's anniversary, the first ever Kandračovci DVD&CD - Gala Concert was created from the mentioned concert series. The band played accompanied by Julo Selčan's orchestra, with the Choir of St. Cecílie, duo Farsa and introduced the singing guests: Monika Kandráčová, Anka Poráčová, Veronika Šoltysová Rabadová and Tereza Mandzáková, with whom they are currently working.
In October 2016, Kandračov's next album "Sokoly" was released, which after four years followed the successful album Dva duby. It brings other great hits such as: Crazy East, On the church tower, Don't wait for me dear...
