Andrea Šulcová and Allison Wheeler

Andrea Šulcová (CZ) and Allison Wheeler (USA) - a charming combination of two female musicians born from a common love for folk, bluegrass and songwriting. After both releasing successful debuts in 2022, Andrea's album Opportunities (Animal Music) and Allison's album Winterspring (Ubuntu Music), they got together in the spring of 2023 and started creating together. Although they come from opposite corners of the world, they are kindred spirits who grew up listening to the music of Joni Mitchell, Alison Krauss or the Dixie Chicks, which strongly influenced their sound and perception of music. Their songs also lightly refer to their jazz background - Andrea studied jazz flute at the Kunstuniversität Graz in Austria and Allison studied jazz singing at the University of Northern Colorado in the USA - but they remain true to the beauty of simplicity and captivate listeners with smooth harmonies and honest storytelling.
Their first EP, Life of a Song, was released in the fall of 2023, and the duo continues to flourish, hitting the summer tour with new songs.
