Ensoi

The band Ensoi is made up of singer Tereza Kopecká and drummer Martin Čech, who are known for working in other musical groups and collaborating on musical projects of various genres.
The Ensoi project was born in 2019 in Brno. Through joint creation, compositions began to emerge, which gradually and without clear previous ideas or stylistic givens naturally resulted in a distinctive style, where the main creative source is feelings and reactions to specific experiences and life situations.
This creates an album of atmospheric-poetic positions and moods, in which the compositions create a story band connected into an impressive whole, moving in the positions of electronics, downtempo, ambient, nu-jazz and is a combination of acoustic musical instruments and electronics, in which surfaces of synth instruments intertwine , keyboards and modified sound effects with imaginative live rhythms and sensitive vocals.
The lyrics are in English and partly in Spanish, which enhances the emotionality of the expression and the overall mood.
Martin Čech is behind the percussion instruments, music and production, and Tereza Kopecká is behind the vocals, lyrics and musical motifs.
The title of the only album so far "Water rings" is a simile of the spread of waves, as carriers of information transmitted, penetrating different dimensions and returning again. They can be perceived and worked with, or ignored, but cannot be avoided.
The very name of the band - Ensoi, which is the meaning of "existence", in itself and by its very nature, refers to the creative process by which the compositions were created.
