The Janosk brothers come from Bratislava. Since 2016, they have been recording exclusively for the Deutsche Grammophon label, in which they released three albums (Janoska Style, Revolution, Big B's), for which they received several awards, including a Golden Record. At the end of October 2024, the fourth album Vivaldi: The Four Seasons in Janoska Style will be released under the DG label. The ensemble members are united not only by family ties, but also by a common musical vision. Their virtuosity and improvisational art allow them a wide range of repertoire, from works of the classical repertoire to their own compositions and arrangements, crossing genre boundaries.
International Dance Day on April 29 is an important day for Ballet NdB, which we celebrate every year in the form of an open air program, a festive performance or another event. As in previous years, the Brno Ballet cannot be absent from the celebrations on the piazzetta in front of the Janáček Theater, when the open air program can already be considered a traditional form of celebration.

15.00 Open Class with Jana Přbylová Open ballet training under the name Open class for dancers, professionals and amateurs is open to anyone interested after registration until the capacity of the temporary ballet hall is filled. You can register here.
15.45 Exhibition The program will continue with a subsequent short concert with samples of the repertoire, where the juniors of Ballet NdB 2, students of the Brno Dance Conservatory and the Filiánek Ballet School will also perform.

The basis is brilliant playing technique, control of a wide repertoire from classics to rock hits and the indisputable acting talent of the protagonists. The ensemble's main attribute is the concept of a concert as a complex artistic project. On the basis of technically refined interpretation, which ranks the ensemble among the world's best, an almost cabaret spectacle is built, which brings into the performance fascinating moments of various bravura full of intelligent humor and leaves the audience in no doubt that they are witnessing perfect musical entertainment without having to compromise on the demands of a visitor to a classical concert. On the other hand, with this concept, they open a wide door to all laymen who have been afraid of a classical music concert until today.
After several years, Lenka Nová returns to her hometown with her solo performance. A big birthday concert on the occasion of celebrating her birthday with special guest Ondřej Ruml will take place on May 30, 2025 in the Mahen Theater. The concert will be accompanied by Petr Malásek and his band. The brand new concert program will feature songs that have already firmly established themselves in Lenka Nová's repertoire, as well as new songs from her upcoming album.
