To many men she was a femme fatale. She loved them, but her heart belonged above all to music. Can a person choose their fate or can they just succumb to it? And how do the histories of which we are a part affect us? The life and love story of Czech composer and conductor Vítězslava Kaprálova, whose journey ended too soon.
The musical-dramatic collage will feature a selection from the work of Vitka Kaprálova and her mentor and admirer Bohuslav Martinů (including excerpts from the opera Julietta) as well as quotations from authentic correspondence.
