70 minutes of interactive, adventurous and above all fun journey into the interior of opera productions with the soloists, choir and orchestra of the Janáček Opera NdB under the direction of dramaturg Patricia Částková and chief conductor Marko Ivanović.

The educational and interactive program is suitable for pupils of the second grade of elementary schools and for students of secondary schools. Krok za oponu is an ideal program connecting music education with Czech or aesthetics.

This time we look behind the curtain at the opera The Trips of Mr. Broučkova by Leoš Janáček. Mr. Broučkova's Trips is Janáček's only opera that did not have its world premiere in Brno,

but that doesn't mean we resent her. On the contrary, go with us for the secret of why Janáček chose the novella Svatopluka Cech as a subject and why exactly a trip to the moon. Maybe we'll reveal Janáček's secret passion for science fiction, but we'll definitely demonstrate how moon music is made. Of course, there will also be a trip to the 15th century, so we will brush up on some knowledge of the Czech history of the stormy Hussite era.
