The highlight of the International Dance Day celebrations on April 29 at the NdB will be a gala evening of the NdB Ballet with international participation.
The special decorations of the gala will be the stars of the Royal Ballet in London, Fumi Kaneko and Vadim Muntagirov, who will dance the classic pas de deux from the Corsair ballet. Other stars will be Romanian National Opera ballet soloists Rin Okuno and Robert Enache with a pas de deux from Swan Lake, and Cristina Dijmaru with Bogdan Canila, who will perform as Diana and Akteon. The pas de deux from the ballet Don Quixote will be danced by the excellent Michal Krčmář, who is the first soloist of the Finnish National Ballet, together with Yolanda Correa from the State Ballet in Berlin. And finally, the pas des deux from the Flames of Paris ballet will be performed by Hibiki Tsukamoto with Erina Yoshie. Of course, our great dancers can't be missing either, the soloists and chorus of the NdB Ballet and members of the junior NdB 2 will perform as the host group.
