The world premiere of Light at the End of Darkness continues in the line of original biographical works. The one-act opera for four voices is inspired by the life and work of František Drtikol, a Czech photographer who worked between 1901 and 1935 in the late Art Nouveau style, later influenced by Cubist-Futurist elements. František Drtikol's name is usually associated only with photography, while forgetting that Drtikol was also a mystic and thinker who worked in various media - in addition to photography, also in drawing, painting and graphics. On the ground plan made up of fragments from Drtikol's life, the photographer's inner world, the procedures and dilemmas of his work are revealed to the viewer, a possible way to find inner satisfaction and peace.
