As part of this year's Matinee, entitled Janáček smečuću, the JAMU school will present students of the Faculty of Music from various fields of study (singing department, organ department, jazz department, wind instruments department, piano department, string department and others) in the non-traditional spaces of classrooms and concert halls. You can look forward to, for example, L. Janáček's organ compositions seasoned with jazz improvisations in the organ hall, as well as Janáček's vocal work, which will be performed by students of the singing department in Studio nine. The wind section will be presented in the auditorium of the JAMU Faculty of Music under the guidance of doc. Welcome to Spilky. All this and even more in the novel concept of director Kateřina Křivánková, who is aware that Janáček's music hits all her performers, i.e. the young students of the Faculty of Music.
As part of the program, you can look forward to a wind concert in the HF Concert Hall, an organ concert with jazz improvisation in the Organ Hall, a violin concert in the Chamber Hall and a staged part from the opera Lišek Bystroušek.
