Omar Lyefook
Omar Lyefook was born to have a career as a musician. His father, Byron, a studio drummer, worked with Bob Marley, Horace Andy and the Rolling Stones. His younger brother, professionally known as Scratch Professor, won a Grammy and his sister is a famous singer.
Omar himself is without a doubt one of the greatest talents in Great Britain in the last 40 years. Since its inception in the late 1970s, the Iceland band Mezzoforte have defined the style of instrumental pop-fusion jazz and have been entertaining their fans with perfect interplay, enthusiasm and individual virtuosity.
