Doctor Zhivago, one of the most beautiful and touching love stories in the world of art, is a famous novel by the Russian writer Boris Pasternak. The brilliant music of Dmitry Shostakovich is accompanied by other magnificent compositions by other exceptional composers such as Rachmaninov, Mjaskovsky, Vasks and Schnittke. This blend of music is full of sharp contrasts and comic moments. The choreography is by the famous ballet artists, brothers Jiří and Otto Bubeníček, who, since completing their active dancing careers, have been creating successful works on prominent dance stages around the world.
