LEOŠ JÁNÁČEK AND THE LATE REVIVAL IN MORAVIA

How did Janáček become Janáček? More precisely: how did LEO Janáček, a talented but unknown founder of the Augustinian monastery, become LEV Janáček, a leading figure of Czech culture in Moravia? The book Leoš Janáček and the late revival in Moravia, published this year by the Argo publishing house, tries to answer this question. The comprehensive and well-founded publication will be presented by its author, musicologist Miloš Zapletal.
