Prouza is a Czech music group, ranging in genre between post punk and
alternative pop-rock. The formation of the band is officially dated from 1989,
but in fact, with some changes in title (originally Brumer's Prouza) i
personnel, the band has existed since 1981. It has become widely known
Prouza from the nineties, thanks to songs like Na venku, Všechno jen
like, Here's the place or Face Back. Prouza has 4 albums, collaborations on visuals and TV programs with the world-renowned filmmaker David Ondříček and Czech Television, several
rarities, singles, countless participations in music compilations and hundreds
concerts played. The line-up around bassist Bronislav Svoboda and
Vladimír Frank's guitarists (both from 1981 to the present day) are currently the singer
Tomáš Gavlas (2022-present), drummer Alex Buš (2023-present) and guitarist
Radovan Typovský (from 2024).
The Jerusalem group was formed more than 30 years ago. It worked with shorter or longer ones
breaks and this year she got back together after another one to start again
to give a concert It moves on the border between gothic-rock and pop and has been since its inception
existence is oriented towards one's own creation. Jerusalem had in
in the beginning close to the Oceán and Shalom groups. A certain belonging
it continued and culminated at the turn of the millennium with the collaboration of the singer
Jan Dvořák with Petr Muk. "We wrote the music and lyrics for the V kruh album,
when we were all about 23 years old. The album is basically anti-war. Now,
when we started rehearsing this material again, I realized how little
changed," reflects Jan Dvořák on the album and adds to the bonus track: "Song
That which lies at my feet / Love that dangerous thing has the opposite story - after
years ago, I realized that we must not be afraid of love..."
Tyvole is a big beat band from Prague-Dobřichov playing Czech songs
with Czech texts. She would prefer to rank herself according to her musical role models
into the "guitar song" genre. In 2024, the band Tyvole recorded their first album Na
parquet floors.
