A trio of virtuoso musicians with an unmistakable sound! Sweden's Dirty Loops turn pop hits into unique jazz, funk, R&B and rock conversions. They are currently one of the most successful Swedish music groups and a worldwide phenomenon.
Dirty Loops was founded in 2008 by three friends, Aron Mellergård, Jonah Nilsson and Henrik Linder. The project was created more or less as an experiment, where the goal was to try new musical possibilities and rise above what was considered the norm for classical music jams. After two years of reworking popular songs, the band decided to upload a cover of Lady Gaga's "Just Dance" to YouTube, hoping to land a gig or two. The other cover videos they posted got thousands of views and eventually led to a recording contract with Andreas Carlsson and David Foster.
The first album "Loopified" was released in 2014 and contained mostly original songs. Following its release, Dirty Loops embarked on a world tour headlining and supporting Maroon 5.
Today, they have three albums to their credit, including 2022's 'Turbo' - a joint project with Cory Wong.
