Endless virtuosity and boundless musical energy. That's what awaits you at the concert of the Forq formation, which combines great musicians with experience from a number of leading groups.
Keyboardist Henry Hey, at that time already the only founding member of Forq, played with David Bowie or Empire of The Sun. Experienced names continue to abound in this group. Hey attracted guitarist Chris McQueen - he played in Snarky Puppy and Bokanté -, second guitar player Jordan Peters can boast of working with Jon Batiste or Lauryn Hill. Bass player Eli Menezes also played with the latter, and drummer Jason "JT" Thomas is joined by a common past in the aforementioned Snarky Puppy.
In the center of events at Forq concerts is not virtuosity for its own sake. Primary is always a unique expression and a musical experience that the audience really remembers. A crossroads of infectious grooves, ear-shaping harmonies and melodies that stay in your head for a long time. Even so, this music can be characterized.
