A unique rock group that absorbs not only the gurgling of life as such, but above all the poetics of its Brno homeland, which is the heart of many a musician with a restless soul and a pepper in the heart. Artisan musician fortel se
in the case of THE UGLY GIRL, it combines inner tenderness and strength, which is hidden behind stories full of fantasy and unrepeatable moments of intense life.
Until 1989, various forms of the band appeared on numerous more or less official occasions, essentially as a free association of Brno musicians. In the nineties, in new times, conditions and under a new name, SKAREDÁ HOLKA was already profiled as original guitar hard rock. Her home scene was mainly the Mersey club in Brno. Until 1995, the band regularly gave concerts in Brno and in the wider Czech and Moravian context. She was NIKKI SUDDEN's backing band on his tour of the Czech Republic
also abroad and recorded a record with him. After 1995, individual members began to devote themselves to other projects, such as the well-known ČANKIŠA. In 2016, the UKULELE ORCHESTRA JAKO BRNO group, where four ŠH players work, recorded several ŠH compositions. The revitalization of the songs was the impetus for a more active renewal of the band, and the logical outcome of the new lifeblood is the release of the comeback vinyls "Bohyně" and "Hnaný větrem", where you will hear almost all ŠH songs that had been properly stored for years before they were officially recorded.
