The group Distant Bells was founded on November 3, 2003, originally only for the performance of a live band in the play "Odyssey called Pink Floyd" written by Přemk Dofek and Karl Carbol. From this line-up, a band was born, which began to operate under the name Distant Bells. The author of the band's name was the then bassist Milan Zink. "Distant Bells" is part of the lyrics to the song Fat Old Sun from the album Atom Hearth Mother. In the course of time, the band gave concerts more and more every year, even reaching Germany, Austria, Poland and Slovakia. Clubs Vagon in Prague, Metro Music Bar in Brno, Šeříkovka in Pilsen, Stará Masna in Kroměříž and others became their home stages. A great milestone in our history is the discovery of a unique scene in the Brno Observatory. We played our first concert here in 2008.
