Music Marathon 2024 I ČaroTaj

ČaroTaj carries the charm of Slovakia, the native region of singers Taťana and Jitka. Echoes of a childhood spent among folklorists, headed by his father, primate and singer with a sparkling voice, Lubomír Málk. His musical sensibility and unmistakable phrasing left a strong impression on the listeners' ears and the souls and expression of his daughters. They remained there even after moving from Slovácko to Prague, where both sisters are pursuing their own professional paths, but in the mosaic of their activities there was still a space that called for filling. And so, in 2022, Taťána Roskovcová and Jitka Novotná met the wonderful musicians, bass clarinetist Petr Valášek, bassoonist Ondřej Roskovec and cellist Jan Keller, classical and jazz performers who enjoy letting themselves be enchanted and inspired by the songs of their native region.
