Dust in the Groove moves between improvisation, experimental jazz and contemporary music. Thick grooves are interspersed with soft timbres, melodies and noise passages. This group has been active on the music scene since 2013, and on its ten-year anniversary, it selects the most interesting compositions from its discography and gives them a new coat. In addition to revised arrangements, DITG's new sound is also brought by a new member of DITG - French double bass player Yoram Rosilio and electronic drummer Jakub Švejnar.
Dust in the Groove actively collaborates with the Norwegian composer and trumpeter Didrik Ingvaldsen, the Swiss composer and trombonist Roland Dahinden and the Austrian saxophonist and leader of the Vienna Improvisation Orchestra Michael Fischer. Cooperation with artists and dance performers is also common.
In addition to concert activities, this project is devoted to workshops We paint music for children and clients with mental disabilities.
