Manic, acoustic and technological, improvising and constructing, grotesque and aptly critical: this is Samčo, brother of Dážďoviek, probably the most important musical rebel in today's Slovakia, hidden under the toadstool hat. Samč's recontextualization of childhood, religion, lo-fi songwriting (the Pentagramček project) and/or electronics reveals Samč's inner child, which he fantastically associates with animals, nationality, politics or folklore. His music is full of field recordings, looted pop culture, East Slovak slang and samples of everyday objects. In 2015, Samčo won the Radio_Head Awards in Slovakia in the experimental music category.

My name is Spaniel Russ - a nickname that came to me already in elementary school, mainly because of my southern appearance. I started with punk and poured my black heart into this "music" in the lyrics. Whin. I've moved a bit away from punk music and my current music interface is called: folk/punk/gypsy/funk N' ROLL. I am very well known in certain villages, for example in Tekóldany. I also performed in several big cities. The last time I got off the bus no. 9, at the Tomanova stop, in Brno, where I also live, like any good Slovak. And now seriously, I'm looking forward to Kafara and Obřany, where I spent part of my life in Brno. After-hearing on the spot
