THE LEGENDARY PINK DOTS
The experimental psychedelic-rock band The Legendary Pink Dots returns to Brno after years with a new record! The band also known as LPD, originally from England and active in the Netherlands for many years, is celebrating an incredible 45 years on the scene. During that time they have gained a large following and have released more than 40 albums and toured countless times around the world.
The Legendary Pink Dots use elements of neo-psychedelia, synthpop, post-punk, electronic music, ambient and gothic rock in their music. The poetry of the lyrics may remind someone of Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett, and they are also close to kraut rockers Can, Faust, Brainticket, Magma or Neu! Thanks to their experimental approach, they have been able to bend their sound in all directions over the years and thus create their specific recognizable sound.
