6 years after the album Black Yoga, Ghost of You returns to their home Kabinet Muz to christen their new record Eyes Shut (2024, Indies Scope) on December 4.
GHOST OF YOU
Since the debut of Glacier & the City (2015), Brno's Ghost of You has been touring tirelessly. They presented their unpredictable whirlwind of poisonous guitars, intoxicating bass and dance beats in all corners of the Czech Republic, but also in Slovakia, Austria, the Netherlands, Hungary, Germany and Great Britain. The second album Black Yoga (2018) showed a more experimental position of the band as well as the range and authenticity of Tom Novohradský's singing. The fresh sound and confidence of the recording impressed critics and the public, and the band performed at leading European festivals such as Sziget, Donauinselfest, Pohoda, Waves Vienna, Eurosonic Nooderslaag or Colors of Ostrava. With the record, she performed sold-out concerts in Brno and Prague clubs (Fléda, Kabinet Múz, Café v Lese).
During the pandemic, drummer Antonín Kropáček joins the lineup and the band works on new material. Third album Eyes Shut (2024) is released on November 15th on Indies Scope, and Ghost of You returns more mature and more mature than ever.
