ENABLERS (USA)
The music of the California Enablers defines the elegant urgency of post-rock harmonies with guitars fluttering like a silken ribbon over the slippery edges of noise-rock surfaces. The demonic poet Pete Simonelli completes the dark atmosphere of the band with his bewitching narrator's voice, in whose line-up members of Swans, June of 44 or Codeine play or played.
In more than 20 years of their existence, the Enablers have released seven albums, two of which were released on Neurot Recordings, several singles and EPs. We definitely recommend the concert to fans of Slint, Shellac, The Jesus Lizard or the just mentioned June of 44.
