MASTER BOOT RECORD (IT)
MASTER BOOT RECORD is the main boot record, which is located in the first sector of the hard disk in computers, i.e. at its very beginning. It is the bootloader of the operating system to which the BIOS passes control when the computer starts.
MASTER BOOT RECORD are also an instrumental trio of experienced musicians who play chiptune/8-bit music known from slot machines on real instruments, which in their performance is stylized into electronic or synthesized metal. The metal flow is really strong here, of course synthesized, but the immersion in their music takes you back to the 80's mobile pilgrimages, where after throwing in a 5 CZK coin you went to play Atari, Nintendo and Sega games.
The main character of MASTER BOOT RECORD is the technologist and extremely productive composer Victor Love, who released his eighth album "Personal Computer" with MBR since 2016 last year, which emerged as an 8-bit specter in 2016. But MASTER BOOT RECORD don't like it when someone uses the term synthwave and synthpop in connection with them, they really feel like a synthetic metal band like in the case of Rémi Gallego and his The Algorithm.
Simply put: this is synth metal and MASTER BOOT RECORD is a live video game. And in November, he will return to the Czech Republic twice – once to Prague and once to Brno!
