Martina Trchová: 90% luck
For four years, singer, songwriter, lyricist and guitarist Martina Trcová prepared the material for her fourth album in a row, which she named after the verse of one of the songs, 90% of happiness. In the texts, she captures the feelings associated with double motherhood, but also notices the details of everyday city life.
She prepared the recording in collaboration with producer and musician Martin Kyšperský (Květy), who invited, for example, jazz drummer Martin Novák, cellist Alžběta Rolečková or trumpeter Christoffer Strandh to the recording. This resulted in eleven colorful songs, in which Martina Trcová once again presents herself not only as a great singer of calm strength and tenderness, but also as an author with a feeling for timeless melodies.
90% Happiness is released eight years after the Angel-awarded Holobyt, and at the christening in the MÚZ Cabinet, a number of "album" guests will play with Martina - in addition to Martin Kyšperskší, members of the band Květy (Jiří Habarta, réj Kyas), drummer n Novák, multi-instrumentalist Bharata Rajnošek, or Martina's long-standing companion singer-songwriter Lucie Krpalová (Prune).
