BARBORA MOCHOW
Barbora Mochowa is a Czech singer, pianist and songwriter. Her music is characterized by its dreamy and magnificent atmosphere. In her work, she likes to be inspired by the theme of space or images from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, whose characters and motifs she revives and brings to the present.
She introduced herself to the wider public in 2019 in the Czech national round of the Eurovision Song Contest, where she led in the number of views on YouTube with the song True Colors. A year later, she appeared in Eurovision for the second time, this time with the song White & Black Holes, which earned 1st place from the international jury.
Her latest album Will-o'-the-Wisp (Bludička), on which she collaborated with leading producer Viliam Béreš, was released in November 2023. For this album, she was nominated in the Discovery category of the Anděl 2023 Awards.
In Kabinet múz you will hear songs from the record accompanied by a new band led by guitarist and producer Igor Ochepovský, which consists of other outstanding musical personalities - Michal "Kolouch" Daněk (drums), Ondra Hauser (bass guitar) and Jan Aleš (keyboards).
