A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS (USA)

New York noise rock trio A Place To Bury Strangers has been perfectly combining post-punk, noise-rock, shoegaze, psychedelia and avant-garde music for two decades. They will visit Brno for the first time, where they will play the only concert in the Czech Republic as part of the autumn European tour, together with Stella Rose (daughter of Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode).

A Place To Bury Strangers concerts are always an overwhelming experience full of exploding energy and sound. Their current sixth album See Through You was released in 2022 on the Dedstrange label. "In their own way, A Place to Bury Strangers have made a record of an eclectic and diverse sound, a specific style that is open to innovation and valuable unpredictability," describes the album in the cultural magazine Flood. The music magazine Brooklyn Vegan wrote of the record: "Oliver Ackermann has breathed life into his noise-psychedelic band – this ghostly brutal machine on a superb sixth album."
