The Tchendos will christen their new album at the MÚZ Cabinet!
The Prague electronic group The Tchendos is releasing a new album after sixteen years called The Tchendos Meet the Universe. Since the first record Kill Death, the band has taken a huge step forward. This is reflected in their new sound, in the variety of recordings from slow downtempo songs to fast dance new disco songs and in elaborate texts. At the christening, they will present all the songs from the new album, but of course there will also be proven hits with which this group from Žižkov has already made the packed Lucerna Music Bar dance to the roof several times.
The Tchendos are synonymous with the hedonistic Prague of the 90s: not only were they present at everything important that was going on in Prague's clubs - they significantly shaped the whole scene themselves! Either as DJs or promoters of the first legendary house parties, or as classic characters from the first dance clubs. From a recessive breakbeat hit with one sampler and a child's midi keyboard, they grew into a full-fledged concert ensemble that entertains the club audience with a lively show. But not only that: he also takes on today's "issues", such as political chaos, racism and xenophobia. And always without napkins. It is not for nothing that The Tchendos are referred to as the true successors of the Czechoslovak underground!
