Two of the most active and innovative Brazilian punk-metal bands, Deafkids and Test, will bring the fourth year of their "No Hope Tour" to Europe. Both groups, who have long shared an unceasing spirit of creativity, are preparing new joint studio material. They will deliver it as part of a single stop in the Czech Republic on Friday 9/27. to the MÚZ Cabinet.

DEAFKIDS are a unique psychedelic journey of Brazilian polyrhythmic percussion, hypnotic vocals and aggressive repetitive raw punk. A band that is looking for new dimensions and is not afraid to experiment. Their energy is infectious and their deep knowledge of sound transcends traditional genre boxes. Although they sound ferocious, their effects are healing like some kind of sonic ayahuasca. Just tune in and see where they take your listeners.
DEAFKIDS are an experimental d-beat/noise rock/punk/sludge-metal band from Volta Redondo in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Deaf Kids was founded in 2010 by guitarist Douglas Leal, a native of Volta Redonda, Rio de Janeiro, who originally conceived it as a one-man d-beat project. He recorded on his own. In June 2011, Leal released his first self-titled album, shortly followed by an EP entitled 6 Heretic Anthems for the Deaf. In September 2012, a split EP with the group O Mito da Caverna followed, and in April 2013, the limited edition single Truth/Freedom was released. The second full-length album from Deaf Kids, The Upper Hand, appeared in October 2013, followed by the cassette-only album I Am the Sickness before the end of the year. In 2014, the group underwent a transformation. Leal moved from Rio de Janeiro to São Paulo and Deaf Kids became a proper band, with the addition of bassist Marcelo Dos Santos and drummer Robinho, who was subsequently replaced by Mariano de Melo. From then on, they were able to play live more easily, and thus Deaf Kids began to establish themselves in the international metal and underground music communities. The 2015 album Ao Longo dos Dias Um Tanto Danificado received rave reviews and a European tour was recorded on the LP Live in Slovenija 2016. This was followed by the recordings of other successful recordings such as Metaprogramação on the Neurot Recordings label.
