New friends in the Cabinet of Muses will christen their debut album I kobarika foli.
The new friends balance on the border between Etna, acid jazz and psychedelic rock. Their music is firmly based on the roots of West African traditional rhythms and is complemented by the influences of contemporary world music and the jazz scene. Tubabu Fila – two drummers playing African drums. They are based on the West African djembe-dundun tradition, but they are not African. The combination "tubabu fila" means "two white people" in the Malinka and Bambara languages. West African polyrhythms in a minimalist composition.
