Czech rock legend Roman Dragoun, singer, composer and keyboardist has been active on the music scene since the mid-seventies. He moved from his native Písek to Brno, where he worked in the group REGENERATION and then became a member of PROGRES 2, with whom he recorded the famous album "Třetí kniha junglí", where he participated... also as an author (the song "A man who resembles the far side of the moon" became the rock song of 1982).
In 1983, he left Progres and founded the group FUTURUM, with which he successively recorded the albums "Island of the Earth" (Panton 1984) and "Unique Chance" (Supraphon 1987). In the fall of 1984, he won a prize (Vokalíza tip) for his singing at the Jana Koubková – Vokalíza festival in Prague. In 1988, he accepted Michal Pavlíček's offer and became a member of the group STROMBOLI (album "Shut Down", Panton 1989). After the breakup of the band in 1990, he participates in many musical projects: he collaborates with Bára Basiková, Michal Pavlíček, Raven, Marakana, Pavla Kapitánová, Leona Machálková and mainly composes new compositions.
In 1996, the first solo album titled "Stín mý krve" was released, produced by Michal Pavlíček with the participation of top jazz and rock personalities (Karel Růžička jr. - sax, Roman Pokorný and Michal Pavlíček - guitar, Jan Seidl - drums, etc... )
