The Tango group, led by former Abraxas singer and incorrigible showman Miroslav Imrich, is currently releasing a live CD called Živák 2022. It was recorded as part of the band's tour this year, specifically in Přerov in the local Teplo club. It contains a total of 14 songs, mostly Tango's biggest hits in new – to put it simply, slightly faster and more up-to-date in terms of arrangements – versions, plus one memory of Abraxas in the form of the song Ordinary World. The video clip Elektrickej bál is a bonus.
After many years, the saxophone returned to the Tango line-up, which is operated by Radek Masařík, who is also the manager of the ensemble. In addition to him and frontman Míra Imrich, the band today consists of guitarist Martin Hollandr (aka RockOpera Praha, King Size, Viktor Dyk & Waw), bassist Petr Remis (aka Loco Loco) and drummer Matouš Bureš. Next year, Tango has planned a whole series of concerts connected with the christening of Živak 2022, and one of them is right here!!!
