Baden Powell and currently the most talented guitarist of a new generation of Brazilian instrumentalists. In 2022 he will tour Europe, where he will present his album Só Baden.
SÓ BADEN - This album is a tribute to Baden Powell de Aquino (1937-2000), the father of Marcel Baden Powell. The compositions written by his father were arranged by Marcel Baden Powell. This CD is a tribute to Baden Powell on his 80th birthday.
MARCEL BADEN POWELL - Marcel has his own accent. However, his music cannot be combined with the music of his master and father (captain and father of all), who entered the history of the Brazilian guitar. The guitar is an expression par excellence of the Brazilian soul, who adheres to Iberian, black and European ancestors. The master's prodigal son, Marcel Baden Powell, follows in his father's footsteps and delights the audience. Born in Paris, he recorded two albums with his father: "Baden Powell and his children" (aged 12) and "Afro-Brazilian Suite" with his brother, pianist Philippe Baden Powell.
