Bononcini and Händel were first friends, then competitors, and finally there was a conflict in London in which Händel accused an Italian colleague of music theft, after which Bononcini escaped - whatever was behind it, competition can be a good motivation for performances, and both composers in they undoubtedly submitted their oratorios dealing with the meaning of human action. The meeting of the Musica Florea ensemble with the excellent soprano Martina Janková in conjunction with Štryncl's Baroque know-how promises stellar moments.
