MMKT_NK_Besední dům 2024_2.jpgThe Orava Piano Trio was founded in 1997 in the Czech Republic in the city of Leoš Janáček - in Brno. Since 1999, he has been playing in an unchanged line-up – Jana Ryšán ková piano, Jiří Jahoda violin and Miroslav Zicha cello. During its existence, the ensemble performed hundreds of concerts on important stages at home and abroad. The number of compositions performed, which includes more than 25 full-length recitals of classic trio literature, makes the Moravian Piano Trio one of the ensembles with the most extensive repertoire in Europe. Furthermore, dozens of often virtuosic transcriptions of well-known symphonic and operatic works were created directly for the Moravian Piano Trio. Cooperation with singers of all vocal categories is an important part of the group's activities. Thanks to the extraordinary breadth of the opera and song repertoire (over 200 compositions in their own arrangements), the Moravian Piano Trio is also a favorite partner of internationally renowned opera singers (Eva Urbanová, Dagmar Pecková, Štefan Margita, Miki Isochi), who seek concerts with the trio as a counterbalance to their of artistic activity on the world's opera stages (MET, Tokyo, La Scala...) The ensemble consists of already mature artistic personalities, thanks to which it has reached a characteristic musical expression - a perfect interplay and an unmistakable expressive expression, which is highly valued not only by professional critics, but also it is also met with enthusiastic response from the general musical public. This is evidenced by repeated invitations to perform on major concert stages.
