Paranoid London LIVE (UK)

Dreary acid house overflowing with dirty analog sound will be heard on 3.10. on Fléda. The concert is part of the music conference Reconnect, which will take place at Fléda.

Gerardo Delgado and Quinn Whalley met in 2004. In their London studio, they tried to imitate the sounds of their favorite performers, but eventually decided to create their own style. Beatport magazine states: "PL rescued Acid House from saccharine smiley faces and English rave kids in a field to instead pay homage to its gay, Black, Latin pioneers and roots in mid-80s Chicago." Under the name Paranoid London, a reference to the suicide attacks on the London Underground on July 7, 2005, the pair have been releasing music for nearly twenty years. Their first hit single, under the moniker One Last Riot, was released in 2007 and their concert debut took place a year later.

badfocus

The Prague producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Prokop Korb is behind the name badfocus. His music represents a sonically rich, intimate experience and an effort to constantly expand his own musical language.

Despite his young age, badfocus embodies a true creative spirit, hungry for new sound spectrums, beats and melodies. Although his musical roots are mainly jazz, he has been strongly influenced by many genres, from classical music to electronica, hip-hop to indie-pop, which he combines in his work. In each song, he creates a completely unique world, freed from genre conventions and traditional procedures. The fundamental link of all compositions is above all the emotional impact on the listener. Because he often deals with insomnia, it is precisely at night that badfocus most often dives into the creative process, projecting personal experiences, dreams and features of the outside world into his compositions. When listening to his songs, you can hear parallels with projects and artists such as Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds or Bonobo, but you will undoubtedly recognize an original sound that crystallizes with each new released material.
